About Midwest Ag Group

Midwest Ag Group was founded in 2018 as Hasche Insurance, Inc. primarily writing MPCI and Hail policies in East Central South Dakota.

We’ve grown quickly over the years and are licensed in over 25 states. As we expand, we have now determined that it’s time for a brand change. We are a group made up of people deeply rooted in agriculture who share a passion for helping people. Today, we have a primary focus on everything ag, but we seem to be carving out a niche in helping people in the construction and rental business sectors.

FAQs

  • PRF Insurance protects against financial losses due to insufficient rainfall for your pasture, rangeland, or forage areas. It uses area rainfall indices to determine deficits affecting grazing and forage growth, offering compensation based on these measurements, with no upfront premiums.

  • Each indemnity goes towards your premium first. Once your premium has been met, you will receive a check for any future indemnities.

  • A grid is the physical area under which your operation is insured. You are paid based on the losses interpolated to the grid for the Rainfall Index, which is why it is important that you choose the right grid(s) in which your operation is located. Each grid covers an equal area to .25 degrees in latitude by .25 degree in longitude. The grids do not follow state, county or other geopolitical boundaries.
